Get Your Math PhD in Berlin - Call for applications

For applicants with a Bachelor, Phase I offers a basic graduate phase of 3-4 semesters completed by a qualifying exam. Phase II is the research phase and open to candidates with a Master‘s degree. It lasts 4-6 semesters in which candidates conduct specialized research and attend at least one advanced course per semester.

Application Deadlines

The first round application deadline of 1 December 2023 is for

- Phase I applicants requiring admission with scholarship
- Phase II who want to start in April, May, June or July 2024.

 The second round application deadline of 1 April 2024 is for

- Phase I applicants requiring admission only
- Phase II applicants who want to start in August, September or October 2024.

Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships

The call is open to EU-based postdoctoral researchers to carry out an individual project in the EU or countries associated to Horizon Europe. Researchers must apply with the support of a host institution, which can be a university, a research institution, a company, a small or medium-sized enterprise or any other organization established in an EU Member State or a country associated to Horizon Europe.

Permanent Calls for Places and Positions

Deutsche José Carreras Leukämie-Stiftung - Forschungsstipendien

Die José Carreras Leukämie-Stiftung leistet seit über 25 Jahren mit knapp 1.400 Projektmaßnahmen einen wesentlichen Beitrag zur Erforschung von Leukämien und verwandten hämato-onkologischen Krankheiten. Dazu werden mit Förderschwerpunkt experimenteller oder klinischer Forschung 3 Stipendien für Nachwuchswissenschaftler ausgeschrieben. Die Stipendien sind für Mediziner und Naturwissenschafter bestimmt, die bereits Erfahrung in der hämatologischen, zellbiologischen, immunologischen oder psychoonkologischen Forschungsarbeit besitzen, an einer wissenschaftlichen Institution in Deutschland arbeiten und nicht älter als 35 Jahre sind. Für das Stipendium ist ein Förderbetrag von 41.400 EUR p.a. vorgesehen. Im Fall der Förderung wird zunächst ein Jahr bewilligt; auf Antrag und nach Evaluation kann maximal zweimal eine Verlängerung um je ein Jahr erfolgen.

Bewerbungen sind bis zum 31. März eines jeden Jahres möglich.
