The ISME Navigator is a weekly academic development seminar designed to support students across all cohorts of the Interdisciplinary Studies of the Middle East and Beyond program. This interactive seminar focuses on navigating academic pathways and professional development within the interdisciplinary context of Middle Eastern studies.

Unlike traditional content-based courses, ISME Navigator emphasizes peer learning, individualized academic planning, and the development of academic skills within a collaborative environment. Each session addresses specific aspects of the academic journey, allowing students to attend based on their current needs and interests.
Structure

Format: Weekly 2-hour sessions combining brief presentations with collaborative workshops and individual consultation
Attendance: Flexible attendance based on topic relevance to individual student needs
Approach: Student-centered discussions with peer learning opportunities
