SoSe 25: Quantitative Text Analysis in International Relations
Federico Salvati
Kommentar
This class introduces students to quantitative text analysis as a powerful tool for studying international relations. Combining computational methods with political science, the course explores how to analyze political speeches, treaties, and other texts to uncover patterns, narratives, and trends. Students will learn techniques such as text preprocessing, keyword analysis, and sentiment analysis, applying these methods to real-world datasets to investigate key questions in global politics.
