Please note the different application process for X-Tutorials and X-Student Research Groups

Registration for BUA Modules and for modules of BUA Certificate Programs at Freie Universität Berlin is different depending on which partner institution you are enrolled at:

• As a student at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin or Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, you can attend these modules as BUA auditing student. To register as BUA student, please send the form application to attend bua courses at Freie Universität Berlin and a current certificate of enrollment stating your university semesters to bua@studium.fu-berlin.de within the registration period (see below). In contrast to regular auditing students you can attend BUA teaching offerings without the limit of 6 SWS / 1 module per semester.
• As a student of Freie Universität Berlin please simply register via email at bua@studium.fu-berlin.de within the registration period (see below), stating (1) your first and last name, (2) your degree program and semester of study and (3) your matriculation number for the desired module.

Please note: registration is always for complete modules, not for single courses. To see if credit points of a specific BUA Module are transferable to your study program please contact your examinations office. Registration period in the summer semester 2025

Registrations received by April 8 will be given equal consideration. Afterwards, any remaining places available will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
