Hey! I’m Aylin. I was born and raised in Berlin, but I carry two beautiful cities in my heart: Istanbul (thanks to my mom) and Frankfurt (shout-out to my dad). Let’s just say I’m 50:50 full of heart, culture and curiosity.

I’m in my second master’s semester, studying to become a high school teacher for the beautiful subjects arts and biology. That means I split my days between Universität der Künste Berlin and Freie Universität Berlin. It’s a bit of a logistical masterpiece (Berlin’s public transport and I have an intense relationship), but I love the energy, the nature on FU’s campus, and the mix of unique people I meet every day.

When I’m not running between buildings or catching lectures, I’m probably painting, drawing, dancing ballet, or just taking in the world, because I truly believe art is everywhere. I like to turn everyday moments into something meaningful, whether it’s through movement, color, or simply noticing the small things.

To me, university life should be one of the best times of our lives …not because it’s perfect, but because we’re in it together. I’m excited to share this journey and hopefully inspire you to make the most of it too. <3 And of course, I’m especially looking forward to creating memories, laughs, and good vibes with the amazing weStudents Team 2025!
