Hey there!

Or as we might say in New Zealand – sup bro! Kia Ora! In Māori (the indigenous language of New Zealand) the greeting ‘kia ora’ is used to say hello, but literally translates to stay healthy, making it an extra nice way to say what’s up during Corona times! It is pronounced like ‘key-ohh-ra’ if you feel like giving it a whirl.

New Zealand was my first home but I haven’t been back for two years now. I absolutely love Berlin and am having an epic time studying and living here despite the pandemic. It is so cool getting the chance to learn and take part in classes at Freie Universität while the world is standing still. Life is absolutely awesome and being a student in Berlin is a huge part of that!

Laters guys! Best wishes to you all on your journeys.
