The Language Center organizes tests on fixed dates to issue language certificates. The test dates for Spanish in the winter semester 2025/26 are 04.11.2025 and 20.01.2026. In the summer semester 2026 there is a test date on 05.05.2026 with registration until 28.04.2026.

Language certificates are issued for study abroad purposes (outgoing) and exclusively for students of Freie Universität Berlin and Charité. Please plan your participation in one of the above-mentioned dates well in advance.

Some students do not have to take a language test in order to receive a language certificate, but in these cases the language certificate is issued on a different basis. Please check https://www.sprachenzentrum.fu-berlin.de/sprachtests/sprachzeugnis/index.html and your exchange programme to find out whether a language certificate on this basis is sufficient and recognized.
