Welcome to the International Club of Freie Universität Berlin (ICFUB)

We are a group of volunteer students and a so-called Local Erasmus+ Intiative (LEI) funded by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) which is open to everyone at FU Berlin. We organize a wide range of events and activities for international and local / German students.
Our events are always announced in our newsletter and usually also on Instagram. Our newsletter announcement will tell you whether you need to register for the event in advance or whether it is open to all. If you have any questions, just send us an email (club@international.fu-berlin.de).

The International Club is a student-run initiative open to everyone at FU Berlin. Our team consists of a board that coordinates the club and volunteers who help organize a wide variety of activities throughout the year.
We come from diverse academic backgrounds and many of us know from experience living abroad what it means to adapt to a new environment. That is why we organize events where students can connect with their peers, discover more of Berlin together, and simply, have fun.
True to our motto “by students – for students,” the International Club offers a welcoming space for students to get involved, develop new interests, and enrich their university experience.
Goals
The International Club of Freie Universität Berlin offers a varied program of activities throughout the year.
Our main goals are to:
a. organize engaging activities that make student life more enjoyable,
b. provide opportunities to explore Berlin and sometimes other parts of Germany as well as the university community,
c. encourage exchange between students from different backgrounds
