The Digital Interview Collections team provides advice and support.

Automatic transcription
The ASR4Memory transcription service transcribes audiovisual research resources - e.g. interviews, film recordings or audio recordings - in different languages in high quality. The AI-supported application is operated in compliance with data protection regulations on local infrastructures at Freie Universität Berlin.

Creation of data management plans

The RDM team at the University Library will support you with questions relating to research data, RDM and DMP creation. We advise you on the choice of a suitable template, a DMP tool or on the requirements of the funding bodies and check your DMP draft.

Data publication

As an institutional repository of Freie Universität Berlin, Refubium offers FU members the framework conditions for free electronic publication of research data (as well as documents, dissertations, habilitations).

Documentation and archiving of research data

The RDM team of the University Library supports you with questions about research data, RDM and data documentation.

The Digital Interview Collections team offers advice on the following topics, among others:

Conducting and recording interviews
We offer support in the planning and implementation of interview projects and provide advice on methods and technology.

Scientific indexing and sustainable provision
In our interview portal Oral-History.Digital, you can upload your audio and video interviews with accompanying materials, edit them with tools for transcription or indexing and save them for the long term. This supports you in your project-specific evaluation and in the FAIR provision of your research data in a protected environment.
