The ASR4Memory transcription service provides high-quality transcriptions of audiovisual research resources such as interviews, film footage, or audio recordings in different languages. This AI-supported application is operated on local infrastructures at Freie Universität Berlin in compliance with data protection regulations.

We can offer you support in planning and carrying out interview projects and advise you on the methods and technology you can use. 

Scientific indexing and ensuring long-term availability

Our Oral-History.Digital interview portal allows you to upload your audio and video interviews with accompanying materials, edit them using transcription and indexing tools, and store them in a way that ensures their longevity. It supports you in your project-specific analysis and making your research data available in a secure manner in line with FAIR principles to improve the Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability, and Reuse of digital assets.
