Next week the Berlin Science Week 2019 will offer a wide program giving insights on many different academic fields. Much focus lies on the Future and therefore includes research in the field of ecosystems and sustainability.
Prof. Berthold Kuhn’s lecture “Climate Policies in Comparative Perspective - Understanding and comparing climate policies in different countries and cities” is amongst them. The lecture will shed light on specific challenges, strategies and policies of different countries, regions and cities in contributing to the Paris agreement and the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations. Furthermore, Prof. Kuhn analyses potentials and limitations of policies and actions promoted by different stakeholders, including governments but also the private sector and nonprofits.
