In September 2017 the Center for a Sustainable University at the University of Hamburg invites to the “Hamburg Sustainable Development Summit” (HSDS).

The conference’s principal topic will be sustainability at Higher Education Institutions. Further, it will be discussed how and to what extent Higher Education Institutions can contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Freie Universität Berlin will contribute to the conference’s program in two focus areas: A poster exhibition will introduce FUBs sustainable campus management projects. In the framework of the international project “University Alliance for Sustainability” FUB will offer an interactive session on the topic “The innovation potential of international networks. Fostering sustainability in Higher Education Institutions via international cooperation”.
