News from Nov 28, 2016
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has recently granted funding for a cooperation project between the Latin America Institute of Freie Universität Berlin and the Pontificia Universidas Católica del Perú. The project called “trAndeS” aims to research the correlation between social injustice and possibilities of sustainable development in the Andean Region. “TrAndes” is addressing postgraduates and seeks to provide a plattform for advancing and strengthening the discourse on sustainable societies.
The project adds to the international cooperation endeavours of FU Berlin in the field of sustainability. Synergies and close exchange with the University Alliance for Sustainability, for example during the annual Spring Campus conference are envisioned.
