On this occasion a conference about “The Future of Environmental Politics – Environmental Politics of the Future” took place on April 26^th. The main topics of the conference were comparative governance and transformation research, the development of atomic politics (at the same time 30 years ago, the catastrophic Chernobyl nuclear disaster happened) and also new perspectives of university sustainability research. A highlight of the conference was a guest speaker contribution of Dr. Barbara Hendricks, the German Environmental Minister.
