Prof. Dr. Andreas Knie willtalk about “Smart Cities – The University Campus as Part of an Urban Sustainable Transport Vision”. Andreas Knie is head of the research group "Science Policy Studies" at the Berlin Social Science Center (WZB) since 2017 as well as Management Director of the Innovation Centre for Mobility and Change (InnoZ) a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn AG, the WZB, T-Systems International Enterprise Services GmbH and the German Aerospace Centre (DLR). He is Professor in Sociology at the Technische Universität Berlin. In his talk, Andreas Knie will give insights on the strategies and measures that universities could take to drive the development of a smart city forward.
