On February 6, 2025, the semi-annual final event of the ABV competence area “Sustainable Development” took place at Freie Universität Berlin. Over 70 students from various disciplines presented their project results from the nine seminars on how sustainability can be understood, managed, communicated, researched and shaped.
The participants developed innovative ideas and concepts for a sustainable future within the framework of participatory and action-oriented teaching and learning formats. The aim was to develop a deeper understanding of sustainability models and their practical application. The students presented their results in several discussion rooms under the moderation of lecturers. Over cool drinks and snacks in the foyer of Villa Engler, the students continued their discussions in a relaxed atmosphere and were able to exchange ideas with each other. The event not only offered a valuable insight into the diverse topics of sustainability, but also the opportunity to network and discuss future projects.
There will be more exciting seminars and events in the field of sustainability in the coming semester. Further information can be found on the ABV website.
