As a sustainability-oriented university, we place a high value on new ideas and proposals - in teaching, research, transfer, and on campus. This is reflected, among other things, in our idea and innovation management, which we established in 2021.

Despite many activities and successes, we are still far from our goal of climate neutrality. We are lacking 11.5% in reducing CO2 emissions. In order to achieve this ambitious goal by 2025, important decisions still need to be made, such as the implementation of a sustainability-oriented business travel policy or the introduction of credible compensation approaches.
