Plastic or metal watering cans can be disposed of in the yellow garbage can.

Based on the Packaging Ordinance, the yellow garbage can is designed in principle for packaging waste. In Berlin, however, the yellow garbage can is operated as a so-called recyclables garbage can. This means that plastic and metal waste of the same material that is not covered by the Packaging Ordinance can also be disposed of in the yellow garbage can.
