Butterfly Monitoring
Since spring 2020, butterfly monitoring has been conducted on the Blooming Campus areas in Dahlem. It takes place weekly from April to October and can be accompanied upon request. Registration is via email. You can find more about the butterfly monitoring method here!
iNaturalist – Photographing to Capture Biodiversity!
iNaturalist is a platform where anyone can share their nature observations and receive help identifying plants and animals. Plants, in particular, can often be identified automatically, while a large online community helps identify animals as much as possible. We have created a dedicated project for the Blooming Campus. Over 1,000 species have already been discovered, and the number continues to grow!
Whenever you report an observation within the defined areas in Dahlem, Düppel, or Lankwitz, it is automatically included in our project. Just take photos and report them online, or even more easily via the app.
Have Your Own Ideas About Biodiversity on Campus? Want to Get Involved? Write to Us!
If you would like to implement your own ideas or support us in existing projects, you are welcome to join our regular networking meetings (Wednesdays from 4 PM) in the community garden Blätterlaube at the Capitol Cinema (Thielallee 36) in Dahlem. For information on current projects and meetings, you can join the mailing list or check out our Twitter or Instagram!
