A Toolkit for Preventative Mental Health: Make your Mind a Better Place through Drama Principles

Lecture by the Australian theater scientist Prof. Dr. Caroline Heim and the psychologist Dr. Christian Heim. The lecture and toolkit were created in response to the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic and its consequences. It presents concrete, practical strategies for mental health that have been developed using methods from theater and the performing arts. The lecture will be held in English and is open to students of all disciplines. Thursday, 11th of November 2024, 10 - 12 o'clock at the Lecture hall Institute for Theatre Studies, Grunewaldstr. 35. Open for students of all departments.

online training about Mindfulness from StudiCare – still possible to register

"StudiCare" is a platform on which students can use scientifically based online training courses to promote health and well-being free of charge. The trainings can be used independent of time and place. You will learn helpful and proven strategies and will be accompanied by our team to successfully integrate them into your everyday life. Currently, there are free places in the online training StudiCare Mindfulness, which is also available in English. The training supports you in a more mindful lifestyle: You learn to live more consciously in the here and now, to act according to what is really important to you, to cope better with stressful thoughts and to strengthen your self-worth.
