The Legacy of 1968 in U.S.-European Perspective

Gretchen Dutschke-Klotz invited by FU-BEST program of Freie Universität Berlin to speak on November 28.

FU-BEST will host special guest Gretchen Dutschke-Klotz, widow of German student movement leader Rudi Dutschke, on Wednesday, November 28, at 7:30 p.m. in lecture hall G202 on the Lankwitz campus.

Dutschke-Klotz recently published her memoir about the events of 1968, entitled “1968 – Worauf wir stolz sein dürfen” (“1968 – what we may be proud of”).  In her presentation entitled “The Legacy of 1968 in U.S.-European Perspective,” she will recount her memories of the events of 1968 and their significance for today.
