The work experience is accompanied by an internship colloquium of two hours each Friday (3 p.m. to 5 p.m.) which covers topics such as working life in Germany, personal organization, identifying one’s goals and expectations, communication and etiquette in the workplace, the German work ethic, hierarchies, cultural differences, etc. A written report about the experience is required at the end of the internship. Upon successful completion of all elements, students are awarded 10 ECTS credits that may be transferred back to their home institution. Please click here for the colloquium syllabus (pdf).
