Berlin and Budapest are the two cities that have had the biggest impact on me culturally and historically in recent years.
Born and raised in Budapest, it has given me a special bond with the German language and Jewish culture. Combining these two fields, as a student I volunteered for a foundation offering international guided walking tours with a sociological and historical perspective on the Jewish district in Budapest.
I then pursued my BA in Budapest in German studies and received my MA in European Studies-Cultural Diplomacy from Andrássy Universität Budapest in 2020. During my MA, I did two different internships in the German capital with a focus on human rights and Culture of Remembrance. Since then, I have worked in Berlin as office manager and project coordinator in the culture sector.
I am very happy that FU-BEST brings together all my interests, previous activities and professional experience. As I have always found it inspiring to talk to people with different perspectives and exchange cultures, I am very excited to be part of the team. I know what it's like to 'experience' Berlin culturally and architecturally for the first time, and I want to make this wonderful experience possible for other young adults too.
