Dr. Thomas Werneke
Dr. Thomas Werneke studied History, Sociology and Political Science at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. He completed his Ph.D. with a study on the western human rights language during the Cold War. He is an associated historian at the Centre for Contemporary History (ZZF) in Potsdam. For several years he taught classes for the FUBiS Program, for the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) and at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. His main research fields are the history of the Cold War, contemporary German history and the history of political theory.
