Alasdair Reid is a composer for film and television, with extensive experience in drama and documentary productions. A graduate of the National Film & Television School (UK), he has written the music for over one hundred hours of TV, including BAFTA (British Academy of Film & Television Arts) and RTS (Royal Television Society) award-winning projects. At the Berlinale in 2006, he won the VW Score Prize. He has over twenty years’ experience as an educator in the UK and Germany, specializing in both drums + percussion instrumental teaching and film sound theory. He is currently Lead Tutor in Post-Production Sound at Met Film School Berlin.
