Love Methods Week 2026

Methods don’t live in isolation. They travel with data, shape interpretation, and determine whether research can be trusted, reused, and built upon. But often methods are ignored and pushed to the side. Therefore, we initiated 3 years ago Love Methods Week which logically take place before Love Data Week, an pots methods into the spotlight. This year, there will be 19 hands workshops / seminars - Online & free to attend with topics including:  

- Write & deposit reusable protocols

- Peer-review methods like an editor

- Use lab notebooks to generate transparent documentation

- Share methods that others actually reproduce and cite.

Love Data Week 2026

Die Love Data Week (LDW) ist eine internationale Aktionswoche rund um die Themen Forschungsdaten und Forschungsdatenmanagement. Unter dem Motto "Where's the Data?" wird die Datenliebe 2026 weltweit vom 09. – 13. Februar mit zahlreichen Veranstaltungen zu unterschiedlichsten Themen zelebriert. Die FDM-Initiativen im deutschsprachigen Raum möchten mit einer breiten Beteiligung an der Love Data Week mehr Aufmerksamkeit für das Thema Forschungsdatenmanagement erregen.
