Workshop “Inclusive Open Science – From Global Asymmetries to Pluriverse Design” on July 14, 2025

Our current fellow Dr. Fernanda Beigel and Prof. Michelle Christensen are organizing a workshop on tensions on the path to open science: "The development of transparent and sustainable open infrastructures in research does not automatically guarantee global progress toward inclusive open science. Currently, several paths to open science exist side by side, some of which are in conflict at the global level. These tensions depend not only on the degree of openness or closedness, but are also located along the poles of inclusivity and exclusivity. In this workshop, we want to discuss these tensions together with speakers from institutions in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, France, Germany, the Netherlands, South Africa, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Ukraine."
