At Freie Universität Berlin Division VI: Research offers support and information for researchers with completed doctoral degrees. Regarding mobility a focus is on support for Postdoctoral Fellowships within the Marie-Sklodowaska-Curie-Program (MSCA) of the European Commission and international elements of other funding lines.

Divison IV: International Affairs of Freien Universität Berlin welcomes guest researchers during their stay in Berlin. Furthermore, it offers advice on funding programs of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) including DAAD P.R.I.M.E.
