For the Long Night of the Sciences on June 13, 2015, the organization Netzwerk Unternehmertum der Freien Universität Berlin teamed up with Berlin.Südwest e.V. once again to offer an exciting VIP tour of the Dahlem research campus. The tour’s motto was “High Tech – made in Dahlem.” Attendees visited selected research institutions in the southwest of Berlin to mark the “smartest night of the year.”

The tour kicked off at 4:30 p.m. with a reception at the designated site, the Technologie- und Gründungszentrum Südwest, a center for technology and startups. The reception was followed by a podium discussion with inforadio as part of the “Forum” series. The subject of the discussion, which was also held at the center, was “Locations of the Future: High Tech – made in Dahlem.” Other items on the agenda included visiting the new “Holzlaube” building at Freie Universität Berlin, guided tours of the new campus library and the Albrecht Daniel Thaer Institute of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences, and finally visits to various booths and live demonstrations on the Freie Universität Berlin campus.
