“Sailing ahead – What your PhD can do for you”
February 19 is Career Day for Doctoral Students at Freie Universität Berlin

A Career Day to be held on February 19, 2019, at Freie Universität Berlin will focus on professional perspectives for anyone completing a doctorate. The event is entitled “Sailing ahead – What your PhD can do for you” and is being organized by doctoral candidates and postdoctoral fellows of Freie Universität Berlin and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. They are supported by the strategic centers for early career researchers at Freie Universität Berlin (Dahlem Research School), Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (Humboldt Graduate School), and Technische Universität Berlin (TU-Doc). The Career Day is aimed at doctoral students of all disciplines. The presentations will be in German and/or English. The conference is free of charge, but registration is requested.
In four panels invited speakers from politics and the public sector, industry, or communications and research management will talk about their daily work and their background.
