Verónica Schild is one of the leading experts in the field of comparative research on Latin America and feminist research on globalization. Born in Chile and educated in the U.S. and Canada, she is a professor at Western University in London, Ontario.

At Freie Universität Berlin, Schild is holding a colloquium for doctoral students as well as teaching a block seminar dealing with the topic of her current research project, “Latin American Feminism and the Configuration of the State.”
