Another Una Europa Student Project Incubator till take place from October to November, organised by the University College Dublin, centered around the exciting topic "Una Europa in the Community".
The Student Project Incubator ist an eight-week virtual project for Una Europa students. This year the goal is to better connect universities and their local communities. Students analyse how both sides can work together to master societal challenges. During the program the students will design prototype solutions to such challenges in three predetermined areas:
- Digital Humanities: Preserving Cultural Heritage
- Ethical Consumption: Sustainable Fashion and Consumer Activism
- Media Literacy for Democratic Participation: Battling Misinformation and Fake News
UCD is now looking for mentors who will support the student groups during the program, for example planning their meetings, meeting deadlines, and ensuring active communication between members of a group. Mentors can develop their leadership qualities, gain intercultural skills and create a network of international contacts. You will also receive a certificate and a digital badge that confirms your mentoring activity.
Mentors can be members of staff or Master/PhD sudents. The deadline for applying as a mentor is September 10th. You can find the application form here.
