On September 5, 2025, a significant milestone was reached: Prof. Marco Antonio Zago, President of the Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that had previously been signed by Prof. Günter M. Ziegler, Spokesperson of the Berlin University Alliance (BUA) and President of Freie Universität Berlin. This agreement is set to strategically expand and deepen research collaborations between Brazil and Berlin.
