On June 20, a delegation of 21 representatives from North American universities visited Freie Universität Berlin as part of the DAAD's “Germany Today” program. The talks focused on current developments in science policy such as the Excellence Strategy, the FU's research priorities and geopolitical challenges. In addition to a meeting with the social science Cluster of Excellence Scripts, the group was also able to gain insights into natural science research at the FU during a visit to the SupraFab research building.
