On February 4, 2025, Dr. Mohamed AF Ragab, Secretary General of Pharos University in Egypt, visited the Center for International Cooperation. He was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Burkhard Kleuser and Dr. Ahmed Hasan from the Institute of Pharmacy, which already maintains a collaboration with the Faculty of Pharmacy and Drug Manufacturing at Pharos University Alexandria. Although the partnership is still fresh, it has already achieved initial success: Following a visit funded by FU, a joint project proposal was successfully submitted to the DAAD as part of the Ta'ziz Short-Term Measures. The project focuses on knowledge transfer in pharmaceutical research, with a particular emphasis on master's students. Additionally, it aims to promote exchange in pharmaceutical education and university management while raising awareness of career opportunities in Germany’s pharmaceutical sector. Further joint research and exchange projects are already being developed, further strengthening this promising collaboration.
