On the occasion of the publication of the joint call for proposals between the Berlin University Alliance (BUA) and FAPESP (Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo) for seed funding and workshops, an information session will be held on January 26, during which a presentation of the call will be given. This will be followed by a Q&A session in which individual questions can be clarified.

FAPESP is the science funding agency for the Brazilian state of São Paulo. Each year, it receives 1% of the state's tax revenue as its budget. Since São Paulo generates about one-third of Brazil's gross domestic product, excellent science in this state is correspondingly stable in terms of funding.

This event is open to the scientific community of the four BUA institutions (FU, TU, HU Berlin, and Charité).
