Buddy Matching Event: Buddy Matching Event for peer-to-peer support

Feb 20, 2025 | 03:00 PM - 05:00 PM

What is the Buddy Program and who is it for?
The Buddy Program offered by the Centre for Student Refugees Berlin offers newly enrolled refugees and those interested in studying an opportunity to get in touch with Berlin students and receive peer-to-peer support for successful studies.

Who takes part?
Berlin students as buddies share their experiences with prospective and newly enrolled refugees. If you are looking for a buddy, you can get to know a buddy at Friendship Dating. What am I registering for? Get-together event, networking, having fun, discussing university applications and/or study organization, making new friends, enjoying delicious food.

What should I bring with me?
Commitment, openness, willingness to communicate with people and to ask or answer questions.

How does it work?
We organize this introductory matching event as friendship dating, where participants get to know each other and exchange contact details.

Language: The in-person event will be held in English.

We currently offer the “SprachCafe: Let's Speak German” as a regular activity as part of the Buddy Program. We cordially invite you to join us! It takes place every 2nd Thursday.

Registration and questions?
You are welcome to register (registration is possible 3 weeks before the start of the event).
Max. 25 participants. We will have a waiting list.
