What is it about?
Una Europa launched the second round of recruitment of its the brand-new Joint Bachelor in Sustainability (BASUS) on 5 June. Interested students can send their applications until 9 July. This interdisciplinary study programme is co-delivered by eight Una Europa partner universities with the aim of offering students the opportunity to study sustainability across multiple disciplines and countries. Graduates will receive a degree jointly awarded by six Una Europa universities:
- Uniwersytet Jagielloński w Krakowie
- Helsingin yliopisto/Helsingfors universitet
- KU Leuven
- Universidad Complutense de Madrid
- Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne
- Universität Zürich
What is in it for me?
Students entrolled in the BASUS programme can dive deeper into one of the following tracks:
- Sustainable Chemistry and Physics – coordinated by Helsingin yliopisto/Helsingfors universitet
- Law and Politics of Sustainability – coordinated by Uniwersytet Jagielloński w Krakowie
- Economics, Management and Engineering – coordinated by KU Leuven
- Environmental and Life Sciences – coordinated by Universidad Complutense de Madrid
- Geography and Economy – coordinated by Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne
- Social Sciences and Humanities – coordinated by Universität Zürich
Una Europa's Joint Bachelor in Sustainability has been designed to nurture future decision-makers in sustainability by providing them with the necessary tools, knowledge, and critical thinking skills to address the world’s most pressing environmental, economic, and social issues.
