As a rule, you should apply for a grant for a one-week stay. A grant may be awarded for a two-week stay in certain cases where there is good reason for the longer stay.

In general, priority will be given to mobility activities aimed at strengthening and developing links between administrative units/departments, preparing future collaborative projects, or improving Erasmus student exchange rates.

Specifically, grants will be awarded according to the following criteria in order of priority:

-       To individuals who have not yet completed an Erasmus+ teaching stay

-       For first-time stays at a partner institution (i.e., the partner institution has not previously hosted a stay from a member of Freie Universität Berlin)

-       To lecturers who have already received funding in the previous year but for a stay at a different institution.

In addition, funding is available for individuals who wish to complete a teaching stay at the same institution as the previous year.
