You probably received a letter from Vice President Bongardt recently, asking you to participate in a survey of graduates, since you completed your exam respectively your doctorate at Freie Universität Berlin between October 1, 2012, and September 30, 2013 (2012/2013 winter semester and 2013 summer semester). If you are among these graduates, you can reach the survey by using the code sent to you at the end of this text.
If you are not able to reach the survey using your code, please contact us directly at email@example.com so that we can trace the cause of the error and make it possible for you to access the survey.
The objective of the graduate survey conducted by Freie Universität Berlin, which encompasses all subjects and doctoral programs, is to arrive at a retrospective evaluation of students’ study programs or periods of doctoral studies and use that information to determine the extent to which graduates’ studies and the courses offered prepared them for the requirements of professional life, and where there is a need for further development and continuing and professional education options. If this already applies to you, the survey also aims to review what opportunities are available on the labor market with the new degrees introduced as part of the Bologna Process (bachelor’s and master’s degrees) respectively the new doctorate programs.
The survey is being conducted as part of a nationwide project titled "Studienbedingungen und Berufserfolg" (Study Conditions and Professional Success), which is being coordinated by the International Centre for Higher Education Research (INCHER), in Kassel, and places systematic collection of information on the experiences and needs of graduates during the transition from higher education institutions to the labor market at the heart of scientific research.
As our way of thanking you for participating, we will be raffling off three tablets among the participants.
Thank you in advance for your interest and for helping us by answering these questions!
