Was bedeutet philologisches Lesen und Schreiben? Das Seminar führt in Praktiken, Arbeitstechniken, Methoden und Theorien der Neueren deutschen Literaturwissenschaft ein. Im Zentrum stehen die gemeinsame intensive Textarbeit, über die wir uns grundlegende Fragen der Ästhetik und Poetik, der Gattungstheorie und der Kulturgeschichte der Literatur erschließen, sowie vielfältige Schreib- und Rechercheübungen. Die literarischen Texte, die wir uns im Seminar vornehmen, kreisen um das Thema ‚Stimme‘. Auf dem Seminarplan stehen u.a. Texte von Thomas Bernhard, Elke Erb, Johann Peter Hebel, Ernst Jandl, Franz Kafka, Heinrich von Kleist, Alexander Kluge, Michael Lentz, Katharina Mevissen, Heiner Müller, Emine Sevgi Özdamar und Jan Wagner.
