Comments
As part of this course, hospital patients with particularly common or particularly interesting orthopedic, surgical, internal medicine, or reproductive medicine conditions are examined by students in groups of 2–3 persons, or examination findings are provided, and the case is then presented to the semester group in a presentation of approximately 20 minutes. This presentation should be designed to be as interactive as possible and encourage active thinking and discussion, for which an additional 10 minutes are available. The starting point should not be the diagnosis, but rather the main clinical signs. Students are expected to work out how to proceed and what insights can be gained from each step of the examination. Participants are students in their 7th semester. close
