        Learning objectives: Acquisition of in-depth knowledge of general and specific veterinary parasitology.
Course content: The most important veterinary pathogens from the various subfields of parasitology, i.e., protozoology, helminthology, and acarology/entomology, are presented with regard to their morphology, biology, epidemiology, pathogenesis, veterinary and zoonotic relevance, as well as the clinical signs they cause. In addition, principles of parasitological diagnostic methods and the basics of treatment and control are addressed.
