This accompanying practical exercise to the seminar will involve planning and implementing an individual study on natural behavior. The students will 1) identify and quantify a natural behavior of interest 2) build hypothesis on the possible neural circuits that control such behaviors and 3) plan an experiment to characterize the neural activity patterns underlying the behavior in question. The module will conclude with a written protocol structured as a scientific publication. close
