Additional information / Pre-requisites
In order to receive the certificate, active participation in 6 of the 7 modules is required. In case of two missed modules, a written homework assignment needs to be completed.
Comments
As part of this elective course, population medicine (epidemiological) examples in animals and humans are presented and discussed using sources from media reports, online portals and publications. The focus is on critically reflecting the facts and conclusions presented. Interactive teaching formats will be used. The course is intended to complement the mandatory biometrics course (2nd semester) to create a fundamental understanding of epidemiological principles and metrics. close
