Practical experience with various methods from behavioural ecology.
Planning of behavioural experiments and collection of data.
Data collection, curation, and analysis,
Setting collected data within conceptual frameworks in behavioural ecology.

1. Associative learning in insects
2. Chemo- or phototaxis
3. Animal personality
4. Winner / loser effects
5. Creation of Ethograms

Please note: this course requires the handling of live insects (e.g. crickets, fruit flies, beetles) and may involve killing insects (fruit flies).
