Qualification goals: Students will be familiar with the methods and research approaches of Ancient Near Eastern Studies and other disciplines (e.g. history, cultural and social sciences). They will be able to apply these to the Ancient Near Eastern tradition. They are able to work independently and interdisciplinarily on cultural-historical and historical topics. They will be able to recognise the potential of combining written sources with other groups of sources (e.g. archaeological findings, image sources, scientific data). Contents: The module deals with research approaches, methods and working methods of other disciplines and conveys their application to the fields of Ancient Near Eastern Studies. close
