This course is an introduction to the government, public administration and policymaking in South Korea. The course will examine topics such as the political context of public policymaking, the historical evolution of public administration, the administrative structure, executive-legislative and inter-governmental relations, economic policy, science and technology policy, e-government policy, social and welfare policy, policy evaluation and performance management, public sector reform, and civil society and collaborative governance in South Korea. close
