This one-week course will focus on cycles of action research in English language teaching that you can carry out in your future teaching career, even if you have limited time for additional research. The course will include the analysis of video-recorded lessons and teaching materials, with a focus on current issues in English and bilingual language teaching. As part of your action research cycle, you will then also engage in microteaching, i.e., you will jointly plan, teach and then reflect upon short tasks in the seminar.

The exam (Modulprüfung) consists of a 10-minute presentation (Referat) as well as a written elaboration of the presentation (5 pages). All reading will be provided via Blackboard during the semester.
