Using Texts and Film to Empower EFL Learners and Teachers
Teaching is a deeply fulfilling profession that can bring great satisfaction as we witness the growth and success of our learners. The English language classroom is particularly rewarding, as students can make tangible progress each lesson in a language that opens doors to travel, education and new opportunities. With such possibilities however, also comes potential adversity as we navigate the complex landscape of foreign language learning. This course aims to demonstrate the possibilities of not only accepting, but embracing both the joys and potential challenges in this endeavor. We will discover how through the use of texts and film, we can build resilience to empower both our learners and ourselves as educators.
