Ü2-Literary Translation
Ruth Wishart
Comments
In the summer semester, we will continue to explore experimental approaches to creative translation, with participants regularly producing their own transcreations for analysis and discussion (and enjoyment) in class workshops. Over the course of the semester, students will work on a transcreation portfolio based around a central theme: this could be a myth, legend, a character/person or historical incident – or it could be an abstract concept such as memory or symmetry.
The requirement for participation in the course is the successful completion of the first part of the module.
